In loving memory of Sandra Lee Dolinski “Sandie”


Obituary

Sandra Lee Dolinski (Sandie) 72 of Hastings, FL originally from Wallingford CT. passed away peacefully on October 10, 2021, surrounded by family. She was born in Meriden CT. September 13, 1949, to the late Joseph and Pauline (Evans) Pollock.

Sandie graduated from Clara Maass School of Nursing in 1970 and worked as a Registered Nurse in Wallingford and Meriden until her retirement 2019. When she was not caring for others she loved crocheting, knitting, reading, and spending time with her family, friends and C’old School Vanners of Canada and New England, Florida Van Council and Southeast Van Council.

Sandie is survived by her husband Walter Newth, sister Susan Vickers, son Joseph (Denise) Helwig, granddaughters Rachel and Samantha Helwig her daughter Mary-Ellen (John) Gojuk and granddaughters Jessica and Caitlin Gojuk, many nieces and nephews and her dear friend of over 50 years Doris Jean Challender of New Egypt, New Jersey. Sandie was predeceased by her sister Deborah Metivier.

No services are in place at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Moose Charities: Moose Charities, 155 South International Drive, Mooseheart, Illinois, 60539.
